Service 01 — Search
Difficulty scores guess. The SERP knows.
KD measures the backlinks of whoever ranks today — not whether you can rank tomorrow. I read the actual results first: who is there, how old they are, what format Google chose, and whether anyone has genuinely answered the query. The tools come second, as a cross-check.
What you get.
- A topical map of pillars and clusters — the complete territory, grouped by what Google is rewarding, not a spreadsheet of volumes
- Intent mapping per cluster: what the page has to be to rank, not just what it should say
- A priority order: which clusters are winnable now, which need authority first, and which aren’t worth the content budget at all
- A cannibalisation audit if the site already has content — pages competing with each other are pages losing together
How it runs.
Week one, always. The map decides the architecture, the architecture decides the build, the build decides the content order. Skipping this step is why most sites publish forty articles into a structure that can’t rank them.
Proof.
The method is documented publicly — Keyword Difficulty Is Lying to You and The Weak-SERP Playbook — and tested in the open: 1,830 clicks in week one with zero backlinks.
EVIDENCE SLOT — add a Search Console screenshot here (domain blurred): the week-one clicks curve from the case study.
